Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and driven Architect Designer/ CA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Construction Administration phase of multiple architectural projects and implementing firm-wide CA protocols and best practices.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the Construction Administration phase of multiple architectural projects.
  • Implement and oversee firm-wide CA protocols and best practices.
  • Conduct site visits and review submittals and RFIs.
  • Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and building codes.
  • Spearhead QA/QC processes to maintain high standards of documentation and construction quality.
  • Collaborate with project architects and design teams to resolve field issues efficiently.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development within the CA team.
  • Maintain detailed records of construction progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Act as a primary liaison between the firm, clients, and construction teams.
  • Contribute to projects in the education, municipal, and community sectors, ensuring alignment with public agency standards and stakeholder expectations.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 10–20 years of experience in architectural construction administration.
  • Demonstrated experience with education, municipal, and community-based projects.
  • Deep understanding of construction documentation, building systems, and detailing.
  • Proven experience in QA/QC processes and field coordination.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Revit and construction management software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, BIM 360).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Architectural licensure preferred.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
