Job Description
The Associate of Manufacturing will work in a dynamic production environment at the plant supporting development clinical and launch activities. Under general supervision, the employee will perform operations in the Manufacturing area according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role requires onsite presence and flexibility with working hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on operations, including setup, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare buffers and media according to defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow GMP documents, SOPs, and MPs with strict adherence to safety and compliance.
- Perform and monitor critical processes and execute basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct in-process sampling of equipment and operate analytical equipment.
- Carry out washroom activities, cleaning small and large-scale equipment used in production.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Work in a clean room environment wearing steel toe shoes, full clean room gowning, hairnet, and gloves.
- Initiate quality deviation reports.
- Draft and revise documents, SOPs, and MPs.
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
- Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions, equipment logs, and batch records.
- Perform activities involving rigorous repetitive work.
- Work around high-pressure systems and occasionally heavy equipment.
- Be available to work various shifts including days, swings, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the production schedule.
- Collaborate in teams to complete operational tasks.
- Take direction well and follow documents and policies at all times.
- Demonstrate initiative and create a positive work environment through interactions with team members.
- Regularly lift up to 35 lbs, push and pull objects requiring up to 50 lbs of force, and work on your feet for long durations.
- Perform physical movements necessary for daily functions on the production floor, including bending, reaching above the head, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, walking upstairs, and standing on portable stairs or ladders up to 6 feet.
- Technical skills and aptitude.
- Ability to learn and independently use complex computer and equipment systems within a reasonable timeframe.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, rapidly-changing environment.
- Focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of work experience, or
- Associate's degree with 6 months of work experience, or
- Bachelor's degree.
For the first 4–8 weeks, the training schedule will be Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The work environment requires wearing specific attire such as steel toe shoes and full clean room gowning. The role involves physical activities and the ability to work various shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
