Project Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Architect to lead the design and execution of our largest projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique needs of commercial and industrial projects, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and documentation of a diverse group of projects from concept through construction administration.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design excellence and project success.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and educational facility guidelines.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
• Participate in client presentations, community meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Licensed Architect (or on licensure track with significant progress).
• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and educational design standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LEED, WELL, or other sustainable design certifications.
• Familiarity with state and local educational facility requirements and funding processes.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, especially in communities with diverse populations.
