Heavy Equipment Operator

Butler County Landfill is looking for a career-minded Landfill Laborer to join our team in David City, Nebraska!


In this position you will wear many hats but main duties will include picking paper, minor equipment use, general labor and repairs. This is a full time, long term position with a great company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform assigned duties working at the landfill facility
• Help the movement of waste and trucks through the landfill
• General site clean up
• Flagging / Directing traffic as it comes through.
• All other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate will possess:

• 1 year experience preferred.
• The ability to stand outside throughout a 10 hr shift.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
