Our client is looking for a Helpdesk Analyst to join their Access Control team. The access control team is responsible for account request fulfillment – they are responsible for creating or disabling user accounts, creating application access, creating remote access to VPN, granting access to the appropriate OUs in Active Directory, granting access for workstations, servers, Network Attached Storage, email addresses, MS Office licensing, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, etc. This is a heavily task oriented team where each analysts handles about 50 tasks per day. The customer has a spreadsheet with the application names and associated Active Directory groups. Requests come in through their ticketing system CA Service Desk (moving to ServiceNow soon), so candidates must have experience with ticket management through a tool.

Most of the user interaction is done through email vs over the phone – there may be requests that have come in from a particular user or group that does not include all the required info, so the analyst would need to follow up to make sure they have what they need to complete the request. This could also involve coordinating with other IT groups within the infrastructure or applications teams.
