Description:

• Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, and product assurance to ensure mission success.

• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, functional requirements and non-functional requirements.

• Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of tools, risk, issues, opportunity management processes.

• Coordinating the creation of requirements tracing in DOORS.

• Maintain and improve tracking & reporting of requirements changes by informing program team members in writing.

• Ensure accuracy of engineering, SDRL, and requirements related documents by review and commenting.

• Communicate technical and schedule problems, in a timely manner, to Engineering Manager / Director, Contracts Administrator, and Program Manager when applicable

• Manage all duties per ISO 9000: Procedure 4.1 Design Control

• Contribute to proposals in both technical content and cost estimating as related to power conversion, distribution and control circuits and devices.

• Communicate technical and schedule problems, in a timely manner, to Engineering Manager / Director, Contracts Administrator, and Program Manager when applicable

• Manage all duties per ISO 9000: Procedure 4.1 Design Control and/or Procedure 4.2 Software Development Process, as applicable.

Skills:

Manufacturing, Engineering, CNC, Program, Tooling, Pro-E, Design, Fixture, CAD, MasterCam, analog

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred.

• Advanced technical degree desirable.

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Systems Engineering. Experience in Aerospace Power Systems preferred.

• Commensurate experience with requirements management tracing in DOOR’s

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, customers, potential job candidates, etc.

• Highly computer literate, with MS Office/PC expertise, and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc.
