The Senior Field Technician will be the lead tech on site. You must be capable of resolving any issue that could pop up while installing new systems for end clients. You will be responsible for leading a team of installers, providing end user training, and providing daily status and project reports. This role is eligible for a company vehicle/car package, great benefits, ongoing training and development. • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics including Control, Audio, Video, Data, and Power. • Ability to identify and terminate common connectors used in the AV/Data Field. Including but not limited to: o RJ-45 o XLR o 3.5 mm o CATV o Terminal strips • Ability to use testing instruments: o Multimeter o Impedance Meter o Fox&Hound o CAT5 Tester o Video Test Pattern Generator • You must exhibit the ability to lead a team of subcontractors and/or internal field resources on multi room projects. • You will be required to install and/or supervise the installation of audiovisual systems and their components, including but not limited to: o Connect systems per approved system schematics and manage drawings in the field o Read architectural plans:  floor plans  ceiling layouts  cable pull schedules o Safely mount devices on walls:  Speakers  Cameras  Displays  transmitters/receivers • Must have comprehensive knowledge of standard industry equipment, including but not limited to: Crestron, ClearOne, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, Polycom, LCD& DLP Projectors, LCD Displays. • You will be required to load Programming code and DSP Files and make minor modifications when necessary. • You will have fundamental Networking skills, including but not limited to: o Setting IP addresses o Command Line Prompts • You will be able to commission an integrated system in its entirety for the following: o Proper wiring and terminations o Cable dressing and labeling o Proper Gain structure o Network Access o Proper Control o Touch panel Layout o System Functionality • You will be able to perform End-User System Training. • You must be able to professionally interact with clients on a day-to-day basis. • You must have the capability to comply with all safety rules and regulations required by clients for site visitation. • Provide accurate daily status and project reports to the Project Team.
