Civil Engineer

Description:

Engineering design, analysis, permitting, and construction support for clients throughout the Tri-State area.

Engineering experience in the wireless telecommunications industry and has a history of civil and structural design work.

Responsibilities to include directing drafting and engineering staff through project design process

Conducting site visits on projects located throughout the Tri-State area

Preparing wireless facility design documents for permitting and approvals with the team

Coordinating all design aspects with clients and other engineering design disciplines

Managing services provided by sub-consultants on projects

Tracking the scheduling and progress of projects

Developing, managing and monitoring project budgets

Providing construction support services and inspection.

Responsibilities also include maintenance of ongoing contact with prospective and current clients, participating in business development activities, marketing, proposal preparation and new client/project pursuits.

Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize work assignments, be responsive, and multi-task are a must for the successful candidate in this fast paced environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

1-3 yrs of experience minimum

AutoCAD Civil 3D = major plus

NJ/NY/Tri-State experience

BS in Civil Engineering,

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required.

AISC, ACI, ASCE 7,TIA-EIA 222, and ASCE 10.

STAAD III and AutoCAD

Experience managing projects and employees

Master’s Degree in engineering encouraged
