Description:

- In collaboration with Sr. Director of Compliance develops a comprehensive and practical program of audit coverage for the organization.

- Works with Sr. Director of Compliance to disseminate information regarding applicable laws, regulations identifies risk areas and develops a plan.

- Prioritize work so resources are assigned to areas of high risk.

- Demonstrate proficiency in applying audit principles, skills and techniques in audit testing with varying degrees of complexity.

- Plans the scope of the audit, and testing/procedures to be performed.

- Understand the financial operations, and compliance risks, demonstrate the ability to identify those risks, formulate recommendations, which are appropriate and cost effective.

- Evaluate the audit results, weighing the relevancy, accuracy and perspective conclusions against the accumulated audit evidence.

- Reviews audit results with program management during and at the conclusion of the audit and assist in developing corrective action plans.

- Evaluates the adequacy of the corrective action taken to improve unsatisfactory conditions and follows up with program management until all items are resolved adequately.

- Conducts special reviews at the request of management.

- Coordinate and conduct investigations of suspected or actual internal fraud.
