Aston Carter is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a company that is located in Albany, NY.

Description:

• Review and screen resumes/applications to assess whether basic job qualifications are met.

• Work closely with applicants to coordinate and schedule screening and first level interviews

• Respond to candidate inquiries.

• Interact with teams and candidates to ensure a successful interview experience; focus on the candidate experience at all times.

• Maintain current records of candidates’ status in Workday’s applicant tracking system.

• Maintain Career Center information on Fred for internal use.

• Assist in new employee onboarding

• Stay abreast of current recruiting trends.

• Identify opportunities for process and recruiting improvements.

• Assist employees with general recruiting and Human Resources related questions.

• Perform other duties and contribute to projects as needed.

Other details on role from manager:

This person will be monitoring all open requisitions with emphasis on our Call Center and Branch entry-level roles but, expected to scan other openings to see if anyone in those would be an overall good fit for these entry-level roles. Scan LinkedIn and Indeed, etc., to find passive candidates. Make initial contact via phone/email to engage interest and get people into the first-round interview. They may also assist with onboarding, orientation, paperwork etc. Having recruiting experience is a plus. They will definitely need administrative skills, great written and verbal communication, customer service skills. They will work closely with Mackenzie as decisioning will still reside with her. We may identify other work/needs as we get someone onboarded and trained.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• 1-2 years related experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered

• Must be able to type proficiently and have excellent PC skills, including Word and Excel. HRIS experience is helpful

• Must possess a basic understanding of workplace protocol and Human Resource principles

• Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to easily connect with all types of people

• Ability to multi-task in a challenging and fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

• Must be trustworthy and be able to maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality and discretion

• Your ability to be bonded is required

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Hours: M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm
