Must Haves

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry

- 2+ years of professional work experience

- Experience with speaking to customers, technical support,

- Candidate must understand the basic fundamentals of chemistry such as pH meters, titration, math skills.


- Answering emails, experience with handling customers

- Technical calls

- Formula for batch master, programs all of the batches

- R&D work

- Lab work, standard R&D work. Able to keep good records.

- Receive materials and orders when needed

The candidate will be working both in a laboratory alongside 3 other chemists.

•The job functions for this position is to test raw materials from different suppliers to see if the raw materials meet the company’s specifications.

•If the raw materials do not meet the company’s specifications than the candidate will conduct roots cause analysis tests using chemistry methods to determine where the issue stems from.

•The candidate will also check on the production of the products that are being made and check to see if the final product meets customer specification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•An associate’s degree in chemistry is required but a bachelor’s degree chemistry is preferred.

•The candidate should have at least one year of experience working in a laboratory. The experience can be working on a campus laboratory or it can be in a professional setting.

•The ideal candidate is someone with at least one year of chemistry experience working in an industrial company or even better at another chemical company.

•Candidate must have basic chemistry knowledge such as pH, titration, some basic formulation, basic bonding knowledge; and excellent math skills.
