Description:

The general duties and responsibilities of the "Chemist" include but are not limited to the following:

Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.

Conduct advanced testing and/or critical testing, as required.

Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing.

Participate in investigation activities.

HPLC in a GMP environment

Dissolutions

Bachelors in Chemistry or closely related field

Solid dose pharmaceutical experience (liquids and powders work too)

Empower 3 (software) experience with HPLC

Experience with ICP and GC will be considered (with no HPLC experience)

GC experience

Willing to work Holidays

UV-Vis

A Chemistry degree

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have a life science related degree, preferably a chemistry degree

Prefers experience in Pharmaceuticals, will interview candidates with a strong nutraceutical background. Prefers solid dose pharmaceutical experience (liquids and powders work too).

Must have strong HPLC pharmaceutical background, will take strong candidates with hands on ICP or GC experience (in a pharmaceutical setting).

1-5 years of Pharmaceutical experience.
