Survey CAD Technician

Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

Job Description:

• Assisting in reviewing and drafting of survey field notes and survey data
• Utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation to provide CAD deliverables for survey and engineering projects
• Analyze field data
• Record title documents
• Produce Boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, Topographic, and Utility surveys, Railroad surveys, Plat maps, Records of survey, As-built drawings, and other maps or exhibits
• Interpret field notes and sketches
• Research boundary provide preliminary boundary analysis
• Review survey and engineering calculations and provide instructions to field crews

Skills:

• Experienced in interpretation of engineering plans and construction documents in regards to Land Development projects
• Providing ongoing CAD support to designers and CAD Leads
• Experience with scanning and point cloud data
• CAD-related construction layout experience

Top Skills Details:

• 3+ years of experience working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D for Land Surveying projects
• 2+ years of expeience producing Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, and Topographic Surveys
• Experienced with reviewing and drafting survey field notes and survey data

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bentley MicroStation
• NYC and NYS Agency Experience
