Title: VoIP Technician -- Looking for both Tier 1 and Tier 2

Location: Remote, living within one hour of Portsmouth, NH

Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: First

Pay Rate: $25-35 per hour based on experience

1) JUNIPER EXPERIENCE

2) Voice experience and network troubleshooting knowledge

3) Helpdesk or Call Center experience

Description:

This repair technician will be working in a NOC environment helping with network connectivity for large clients, a majority being on the commercial side. A large part of this role will be customer service, being able to communicate with customers over the phone, they will handle an average of 10-15 calls per day. This repair technician will also be using a homegrown ticketing system, working through tickets, looking to keep the number of tickets in cue under 10. The candidate must have an interest in routing and switching, as a large part of this role will be network troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Bachelor's Degree is preferable. CCNA Certification is also preferable. If the candidate has taken classes in NOC or done a networking curriculum while in college, that is a huge plus. Networking knowledge, voice experience, IP understanding, routers, switches, firewalls.
