Job Title: PCB Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PCB Designer to join our team, focusing on the layout of mixed analog and digital designs, including line voltage traces and multilayer board design. This role involves generating and applying design rules and scripts, creating and managing templates and libraries, and understanding DFM and DFT requirements for PCB Layout and Design. The ideal candidate will be able to generate output files for manufacturing and execute projects under tight deadlines, quickly shifting between PCB designs.
Responsibilities
- Design PCB layouts for mixed analog and digital designs with line voltage traces.
- Create multilayer board designs.
- Generate and apply design rules, scripts, voltage maps, and perform DRC checks.
- Create and manage design templates and libraries.
- Develop and migrate file-based libraries to Altium 365, including symbols, footprints, and standardized parameters.
- Generate output files for manufacturing.
- Understand and implement DFM and DFT requirements for PCB layout and design.
- Execute projects on tight deadlines and efficiently shift between different PCB designs.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a collaborative role.
- At least 2 years of experience in component library and template management using Altium 365.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing 4–6-layer mixed signal PCB boards with AC line voltage power.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of electronic components.
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in developing best practices and building an Altium library from scratch.
