Job Description
As an Electro Mechanical Engineer, you will analyze engineering proposals, process requirements, and technical data related to industrial machinery and equipment design. You will determine the feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities, considering costs, available space, time limitations, and other technical and economic factors. You will also provide technical information on manufacturing techniques, materials, and process advantages that affect long-term plant and product engineering planning.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving them.
- Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure they meet contract specifications.
- Perform cost estimating and troubleshoot equipment.
- Initiate purchases for equipment and maintenance supplies.
- Report on maintenance and engineering activities to management.
- Engage in significant management and contractor interactions, including design, costing, quoting, and executing electrical systems, control systems, and automation upgrades.
- Coordinate, support, and install various electrical system projects.
- Provide engineering support for projects designed and built both internally and externally.
- Mechanical engineering expertise.
- Project management skills.
- Experience with industrial machinery and process equipment.
- 2-3 years of experience with industrial process equipment.
- Automation and electrical systems knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of related experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
You will support the Facilities Engineering team, which consists of 8 engineers, including 3 Electrical Engineers, 3 Mechanical Engineers, an HVAC Engineer, and an Automation Engineer. The environment is dynamic with the implementation of new product lines, offering exciting growth opportunities and the potential for career advancement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dover, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
