On Site Hardware Technician

Description:

This manufacturing company is looking for test technicians to join their team. This would be in a warehouse environment. There is currently 3 different shifts available. The ideal candidate would have an IT educational experience, or hold a personal experience building a PC. This is not a software position, but strictly a hardware position, working with the tools and equipment to build servers and computers. There will be a month long training period for this role. This in an onsite role, unable to be remote. Must be willing and able to travel in to Secaucus every day as this is a Monday - Friday schedule. This position is considered an entry level IT position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree in IT, or Certification from a Technical School
• Equivalent related work experience
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications are beneficial but not required
• Configuration experience of Microsoft OS VISTA/WIN7/Server/Office suite and basic Linux
• 1 year PC system related hardware or networking experience is beneficial but not required
