Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in receiving, shipping, and material handling operations. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, relocating materials within the warehouse, and preparing necessary documentation for shipping and receiving. Your role also involves operating various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and bar-coding equipment to ensure efficient movement and storage of materials.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks, trailers, or other vehicles and move merchandise to appropriate areas.
- Load finished goods from the production area to trailers for shipment.
- Relocate materials within the warehouse and move necessary components from storage to production activities.
- Prepare and fill out necessary documentation on all receiving forms, shipping documents, and production tallies.
- Operate equipment including personal computers, bar code scanners, and copiers.
- Handle movement of pallets on and off trailers, racks, and other locations using site equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Produce bar-code labels and manage inventory information using personal computers.
- Operate bar-coding equipment to locate materials in the plant.
- Use hand or power-driven trucks for receiving, shipping, and production coverage.
- Operate scales and stretch wrap equipment for distribution activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.
- Follow waste and scrap reduction, recycling guidelines.
- Complete Hazardous Waste Operation (HAZWOPER) training and certification if required.
- Adhere to daily production schedules and prioritize job duties.
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
- Proficiency in material handling and inventory management.
- Experience with sit-down forklifts and RF scanners.
- Understanding and accountability for Quality, GMP, and cleaning standards.
- Adherence to Quality Control Plan and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Ability to perform Statistical Process Control Charting.
- Good housekeeping practices.
- Adherence to ISO internal management system.

Work Environment
Work during the weekend PM shift from 7pm-7am Friday to Sunday, averaging 40 hours per week with opportunities for voluntary overtime. The role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50lbs, and climbing stairs. Work is primarily indoors with seasonably normal temperatures, with occasional outdoor tasks. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
