Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Geology. The candidate must be able to travel to PA, NJ, and surrounding areas for testing and inspection duties. Responsibilities include testing samples from job sites such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and rebar, and transporting these samples to the lab for further analysis.
Daily Tasks
Daily tasks also involve submitting written and digital reports to the project manager, performing inspections on reinforced concrete, structural masonry, spray-applied fireproofing, and roofing, and maintaining equipment, vehicles, and work areas. The candidate will communicate with various stakeholders regarding project requirements and results, adhere to strict safety standards, and assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians. This role offers progressively increased responsibility and training opportunities.
Must Haves
- Civil engineering degree
- Geology degree
- Ability to travel to PA, NJ, and surrounding areas
- Sample testing and transportation

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Work Environment
This position involves working outside in various conditions on construction job sites. You will be provided with a hard hat and are expected to wear work boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. The hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime. You will frequently work individually and are required to check in with the project manager before each shift ends for a status update.
