Job Description
As a Junior Architect, you will assist project leadership during the construction document and administration phases of various projects. You will be expected to produce and coordinate construction documents independently and contribute to project development with limited supervision. This role requires initiative, problem-solving skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, communicating clearly through both oral and written means.
Responsibilities
- Assist project leadership during construction document and administration phases.
- Independently produce and coordinate construction documents.
- Contribute to the development of projects with limited supervision.
- Exhibit initiative, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
- Focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
- Communicate clearly through oral and written communication.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- 2-5 years of US experience in residential architecture and mixed-use commercial projects.
- Ability to produce a full set of construction documents in Revit or AutoCAD.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Photoshop and 3D programs such as Sketchup is a plus.
- Desire to learn and grow in the field of architecture.
- Experience in design development and ground-up construction.
Our team consists of the Owner/Principal, three Senior Licensed Architects, and three Mid-Level Designers/Junior Architects. We operate from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, with a lunch break. We offer a hybrid work schedule after a minimum period of three months, allowing two days per week off-site and three days in the office, contingent on demonstrating capability.
