Global Information Technology's Global Digital Applications Digital Marketing team invites applicants for a Web Analytics Project Manager. This role will support our 1st Party Data Strategy within our Marketing group by overseeing projects related to generating, storing, reporting and analyzing web traffic for insights and activation.
What you will do
  • Manage Google Analytics projects, backlogs, resource assignments, and time lines to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with the web optimization team and business partners for analytics tag requirements gathering.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure analytics tagging and implementation standards are followed, including development of data layer strategies.
  • Prepares progress reports for project status to upper management & key team members.
  • Ensure consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core website important metrics in various weekly and monthly Dashboard formats (page views, clicks, conversion, etc).
  • Assist with QA effort of all tagging throughout the site.
  • Assess and manage compliance and ensure proper tag governance.
  • Implement/improve website tagging process, including managing JIRA processes and ticketing.
  • Support online externally facing web properties through analytics reporting.
  • Handle ad hoc data requests from numerous team members
  • Provide input to process for continual improvements based on analytics data
  • Assist with analysis and reporting on effectiveness of new site feature launches
  • Solve issues with data cleanliness, data feeds, and other Google outputs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Aligns with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 5 years Project management experience leading full-lifecycle implementations
  • At least 3 years Expert in project management, keeping projects on track, removing obstacles, identifying risks and solve challenges
  • At least 3 years Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • At least 3 years 3+ years of web analytics experience with digital marketing and application (customer-facing portals) environment required
  • Demonstrable experience implementing and managing tagging across an enterprise-level site
  • Ability to discover, analyze and clearly communicate data insights for action
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills in a global environment Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in web development with skills in JavaScript, HTML and JQuery
  • 2 years experience of Javascript or Google Apps script experience

Salary Range $96,640 - $141,435 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
