Job Title: Industrial Machinery Mechanic
Job Description

This position requires experience with diversified mechanical, electro-mechanical assembly, and sub-assembly units that are moderately complex. The role involves adjusting, fitting, and aligning to specific tolerances. As a skilled craftsperson, you will transform raw materials like copper and stainless tubing into induction coils, utilizing your heavy industrial manufacturing experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize basic math skills including subtraction, addition, division, and working with fractions.
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.
  • Use common hand tools and power tools to trim, file, grind, buff, or smooth surfaces, edges, or joints of assembled pieces.
  • Set up and employ essential fixtures and adapt tools to new applications as needed.
  • Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers in accordance with drawings or blueprints.
  • Inspect and test completed units using appropriate measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, scales, and gauges.
  • Operate assembly machines and have knowledge of welding, plumbing, and hydraulics.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical assembly and industrial assembly experience.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Outlook).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge about vacuum systems, induction furnaces, and metal reclamation systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction effectively.
  • Familiarity with welding, plumbing, and hydraulics is a plus.

Work Environment

This role operates within a shop/manufacturing environment on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, though hours can be flexible based on needs. The position involves manual dexterity and frequent handling of moderate to heavy components, including lifting 30-50 pounds regularly.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rancocas, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
