Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Job Description
This position will use technical knowledge and skills to effectively train, supervise, communicate, execute, and manage the IPS Construction Quality Control and Quality Assurance program for ongoing Construction Projects. This is a leadership role responsible for working with the On-Site Construction Management Team to ensure the established project standards are followed.
Hard Skills
- Develop, plan, manage and administer project-specific Construction Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Plans
- Train project team on QA/QC criteria and implementation
- Oversee QA/QC site-related activities including testing, inspection, and acceptance of work
- Develop special Inspection Test Plans and System Completion records
- Report and publish quality reports, audits, and initiatives
- Provide risk avoidance techniques and identify quality risks
- Evaluate testing, sampling methodologies, technologies, and equipment
- Verify construction of systems and equipment in accordance with approved documents
- Understand and apply federal, state, and local codes, policies, laws, and regulations
- Conduct and/or attend QC meetings
- Possess working knowledge of safety programs, laws, and OSHA operating standards
- Stop work if necessary to resolve non-compliant work or safety issues
- Complete 'Red Vector' Training Modules
- Read and understand construction documents, process flow diagrams, electrical, instrumentation, and control diagrams

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Somerset, New Jersey.
Work Environment
Brand new office space with double monitors, kitchen, and lounge. The position requires travel 50% of the time or as necessary to complete duties. The person may be assigned to a client for an extended period of time (1-2 years). Overnight travel is possible, focusing on construction field activity with limited office time. The person will visit client sites and must adhere to stated safety rules. This position is safety-sensitive and involves fieldwork in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other non-administrative areas.
