Project Coordinator (Disaster Recovery)

Our top healthcare client is continuing to mature their Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Crisis Management program. This role will be a net new resource to support the automation of disaster recovery test execution. After initial introduction to stakeholders, the project coordinator will coordinate all scheduled tests (5-7 at a time), drive resource scheduling, coordinate technical calendars and ensure processes are followed. After testing, the project coordinator with organize a group for "lessons learned" and help ensure that follow up on tasks are being executed. For example - The test found that network admins or a business unit need to update some procedures. The project coordinator will partner with them to ensure it's completed.
The manager and key team members have been documenting the process, deliverables, activities and people required to execute. They will provide this project coordinator with a basic roadmap/guide to the activities for their engagement. Generally it's heavy on organizational skills, communication skills, planning, and asking good questions to drive clarity in follow up.
Top Skills Details:
1) Experience working between IT and Business teams to coordinate multiple concurrent technology related efforts. This resource will be coordinated automated disaster recovery tests.
2) Ability/Experience to drive follow up on remediation from lessons learned to improve processes/procedures. This resource will help the IT and Business groups address opportunities for process improvement after interpreting DR test results.
3) Excellent organizational, communication and follow through skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Any junior PM type certifications could be helpful but are definitely not required - CAPM, CompTIA Project+, etc
