The Customer Experience (CX) organization is one of our fastest growing teams, and the CX Service Engine team is working with the CX delivery teams to transform, automate, and scale. The specific service engine team is focused on transforming our delivery with NetDevOps and CI/CD as applied to network infrastructure. The team is looking for someone with a strong software/DevOps background and are comfortable working on solving customer deployment challenges or enhancing customer operations with CI/CD principles as applied to network infrastructure.
o Maintain business-critical infrastructure through logging, monitoring, metrics-collection, and alerting
o Implement software security best-practices such as the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ISO 27000, SOC2, etc
o Automate the deployment of applications using Infrastructure as Code tools particularly to cloud platforms
o Collaborate with software team to design solutions to meet customer requirements.
o Identify key issues and gaps and work with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them.
o Innovate to gain efficiency and accelerate validation efforts.
o Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
o Identify and facilitate new business growth opportunities.
o Ability to design, develop, deploy, and debug Docker based applications run in Docker-Compose and Kubernetes
o Experience writing REST API backends along with writing test coverage for them
o Strong familiarity with Linux fundamentals and working in CLI only environments
o Recent experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Gitlab CI
o Interest & Passion in Automation and scripting language using Python.
o You've achieved a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS or a computer-related field
Nice to have skills:
o Experience with AWS
o Solid grasp of foundational application networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP[S])
o Networking experience with Mobility, SD-WAN, Security, or other is a plus
o Have broad knowledge of technologies and/or solutions, and at least specialized in one or two areas with depth, e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Openstack, Automation development, etc
