Work with technology, using specialized types of software to store and organize a company's data. This could include a variety of information, from confidential financial numbers, to payroll data, to customer shipping records. A DBA makes sure that data is available to users, and that it's kept secure from unauthorized access or accidental loss or corruption.

Job Specific Requirements

• Structure, organize and maintain critical engineering structure data and bills of materials

• Validates completeness and accuracy of engineering change notices and drawings and determines viability for implementation. Manages corrective actions for engineering turn-backs

• Liaison between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and ECN coordinators in all other business units regarding implementation timing and data structures

• Perform all required ECN processing tasks for supply chain and manufacturing

• Analyze data, define implementation dates, and communicate dates based on inputs from Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Material Planning and other business units

• Update and maintain material master and BOM data in ERP and MRP systems

• Utilize Windchill to collect Engineering documentation

• Track, report and communicate ECN implementation status to functional stakeholders

• Minimize process turn backs

• Support compilation and issuance of RFQ’s

• extreme passion for data accuracy and a high level of attention to detail

• experience with production master data, routing, MRP parameters, material master data and engineering information systems and concepts

• experience in structuring and maintaining engineering and manufacturing Bills-of-Materials, variances and work orders in ERP and manufacturing systems

• knowledge of sales, planning and ordering processes within manufacturing

• experience in reading mechanical drawings, engineering specifications, blueprints and CAD models

• a highl level of motivation and adaptability to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy within a diverse organization

• an ability to interface with all levels of leadership, suppliers, and external customers, responding in a professional manner

• a strong process improvement mindset with experience using process improvement tools

• experience in using Six Sigma tools to deliver continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment

• critical thinking, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills with logical and accurate decision-making ability even with limited information

• strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to facilitate, motivate and influence multiple levels of the organization

• experience with prioritization, time management skills, follow-up and follow-through skills

• excellent computer proficiency in systems including Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, PPT and Word) and integrated data base systems including SAP

• technical knowledge / understanding of the materials, products and commodities consumed in the manufacture of HVAC equipment
