Distribution Engineer

What you will be doing:

• Perform engineering calculations that may include: structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, fault currents, and coordination of protective devices.
• Prepare forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, development of a BOM, estimating costs
• 90% of the day will be design development and coordination
• 10% will be going out in the field - this would be after they several months on the job

Your experience should include:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Technicians would need a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology plus 1-2 years of drafting experience
• AutoCAD coursework from school Candidates that have degrees in Mechanical
• Power Distribution experience on the job, through School Projects or Internships
