I am currently hiring individuals for a growing window/door construction company. These roles are contract to hire roles within the company and can lead to a long term career in the Construction Management field. These roles are a back office support role to ensure all permits for construction projects have been issued before the company completes the project.
The manager is looking for someone extremely detail-oriented that can manage many tasks and projects simultaneously.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm EST
Description:
-Submits applications for Sunrooms/Windows/Doors permits
-Will submit up to 20-50 applications daily
-If required for scope of work and depends on municipality (typically submitted through a portal)
-Maintains reports to include: permit tracking log, permitting by jurisdiction log, etc.
-Processes permits including but not limited to tracking down all necessary documents, applying for and following the permits through each municipality/jurisdiction
-Pays fees including permits, site plans, business license, etc
-Assists with miscellaneous issues such as fees or holds
-Prepares and distributes packages and permits to the production team and Doc. Store.
-Utilizes various office machines to include copier, scanner, computer, fax, phone, etc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-2+ years of Office Administrative Experience
-Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
-Preferred 1 year minimum experience construction and/or permitting with construction projects
-Must have ability to multitask
-Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
-Ability to type 50 WPM or more
