TFM has created a new role and they are seeking a Sr Systems Administrator III. This position will wear many hats as the candidate will be performing Level III tasks around Window Server administration, Active Directory Administration, Exchange and Citrix support, and becoming the Subject Matter Expert for cloud technologies as they plan to migrate their on-prem systems to Azure. Within the next 2-3 years, TFM will be moving to Azure and this person will be involved with helping to get them there. The current Data Center is in Greensboro and the DR in Atlanta. So first, they will move the DR to the cloud and then evaluate how it goes then start moving production there. They are currently 100% virtual (~350+ VMs) using both VMware and migrating to Nutanix which is a big project that is still being completed. They have a Citrix Admin on staff and they are in the middle of migrating to a new version of Citrix / rebuilding it and doing the DR portion of it in Azure. The IT Systems Administrator III is responsible for the effective and efficient design and engineering of IT infrastructure used to support all business processes across the enterprise. This position manages Windows-based infrastructure including VDI, and virtualized server infrastructure. The position is responsible for providing service-based solutions for enterprise infrastructure needs. JOB DUTIES: • Collaborate with technical stakeholders on policy and strategy of short-term results, usually less than 1 year • Is compliant with all TFM policies, practices, and procedures • Coach and grow internal technical staff • Manage cross-functional team projects in areas of expertise • Responsible for maintaining and reporting on operational SLA’s • Fosters a service-oriented culture driven by continual service improvement techniques. • Contribute to the development of IT strategy and roadmap and ensures its integration with the broader IT and enterprise strategic objectives • Design and deliver secure solutions that meet the “Always On” architectural standards • Manage the full lifecycle of assets and services under area of responsibility • Supports the I&O sourcing strategy and leverages the standard procurement methodology. • Lead and or participate in incident response & deployment activities • Support and implement company defined security best practices • Foster and support the continued adoption of agile project management methodology • Collaborate with other technical teams to assist in achievement of department goals REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. • 10+ years equivalent work experience or combination of education and work experience. • Mastery level skills with the following technologies: o Enterprise Windows Server Management o Citrix technology stack o DNS & DHCP management o AD, ADFS, and SSO technologies o Application monitoring and reporting tools o PowerShell and other automation technologies o AWS and Azure cloud services • Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, problem solving, planning, and execution skills • Ability to identify and evaluate new Infrastructure technologies and the business benefits • Demonstrated ability to use agile methodology to estimate and plan project outcomes

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

All employees need to be vaccinated or comply to become vaccinated by their first day. There is a 6 week rotation that will go to a 7 week rotation once this person is hired. The new hire will not be thrown into oncall right away but given time to get up to speed. There are only 3 things that come up during oncall duties: dry space alerts on servers, watch for the store networks dropping off line, and patching the servers for that week. On rare occasion they will get a randon request like "we are doing an install for the night we need someone to take a snapshot of the server."
