Job Summary:

We are seeking a Launch Engineer who will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in new product launches, process improvement, and driving initiatives that save money and reduce scrap and labor. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, as well as project management skills to manage large-scale projects from design to launch. 

Salary: $65-90k

Top Skills - Must Haves:

- Continuous Improvement experience, driving initiatives that directly affect saving money, affecting scrap and labor

- Standardizing work instructions and updates, creating, updating and maintaining work instructions & SOPs

- Experience with new product launches regarding getting new equipment, process and implementation up and running

Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:

- PFMEA

- APQP

- Six Sigma

Job Responsibilities:

This role involves actively participating in new product launch activities, taking responsibility for large-scale project launches and improving profitability/efficiencies of the Business Unit through process improvements. They also need to be knowledgeable about Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools & concepts to assist with internal/external processes as well as creating, updating and maintaining Manufacturing Work Instructions & training Operators on these processes.
