Description:

Looking for a AIX System Admin. This will be sit 100% remote.

Security and Best Practices:

-SSH configuration, use of keys, ipsec/network security and file permissions

PowerVM including Device management, NPIV, VSCSI and multipathing

-Knowledge of viosbr backups and restoration helpful

LPAR creation and management

- Profile configuration

- Dlpar operations

Volume management: Need experience with LVM including:

- Volume Group, Logical volume, FileSystem creation and maintenance

- Logical volume migrations

Patching: Requires experience with:

- Patching via NIM and locally

- Patching LPARs, VIOs, HMCs and Hypervisor firmware

NIM Operations:

- “mksysb” backups and restores

- New system builds

- patching

Logical Partition Migration:

- Requirements

- Procedure

Troubleshooting:

- Performance

- Network communications

- Error log conditions
