Hand soldering and assembly of PC boards, SMT components, cables and test fixtures

• Coordinate generation of bills of material and support purchasing of all required components including general lab stock and supplies as specified by engineering teams

• Support automated testing of integrated circuits in the lab (LabVIEW)

• Maintain clear records of work done including build instructions, specifications, lot codes, engineering changes etc., including a weekly written report of activities

• Maintain clean and organized lab spaces and maintain the inventory of parts

• Understand and follow quality and ESD standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Technical Degree (associates or higher)

-experience working with AC-DC or DC-DC power supplies

-experience working on test benches (oscilloscopes, meters, data acquisition, active loads, power supplies, spectrum analyzers)

-troubleshooting- able to debug new designs and fix problems at the component level

-hand soldering skills

-able to understand/communicate in regards to schematics, assembly drawings and BOM

-Computer literacy- windows, word, excel, powerpoint


-PCB design experience using Altium

-working knowledge of NI LabVIEW
