Job Description

Navigate the plant environment to properly obtain liquid samples from silos using FDA and plant standards, maintaining awareness around machines and forklifts. Test samples using lab equipment/instruments, including tests such as pH, acidity, freezing point, viscosity, and solid/fat percentages, ensuring samples are within specified ranges. Carefully document everything with dates and signatures while keeping the lab clean to prevent contamination and ensuring supplies are refilled (chemicals, pipettes, etc.). Follow FDA and plant standards in the lab and plant at all times, calibrate equipment daily, receive phone calls from the dairy and various parts of the plant, and continuously multitask to ensure products/samples are able to proceed ahead and in specification.

Onsite position in Buffalo, NY

Shift: 6AM-6PM 2-2-3
