Infosys is seeking a EUC Desktop Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all end-user technology issues. You will play an instrumental role in the successful delivery of IT end-user support, IT relocation projects, IT asset management, and undertaking the full audit and preliminary works promptly and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Daily IT Support Tickets: Monitor the ticket queue and manage requests through to completion.
- Support Equipment Needs: Assist with the setup and disbursement of desktop and laptop computer systems company-wide.
- Perform Routine Updates: Regularly update equipment and devices.
- Resolve Technology Issues: Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Employee Interaction: Assist employees in troubleshooting to identify the root cause of system problems.
- Provide Remote Desktop Support: Offer support for desktop issues remotely.
- Hardware Inventory Management: Ensure stock levels are constantly monitored and updated.
- IT Room Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and order in IT rooms.
- Event Support: Assist with events like the annual power-down, including post-desk checkouts (PC/monitors/mouse & keyboard/desk phone/headset/webcam), business/office movements, training rooms, etc.
- Support Hardware Decommissioning Events: Assist with decommissioning activities.
- Patching End User Devices: Apply necessary patches to end-user devices.
- Software Packaging & Deployment: Package and deploy software to end-user machines.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Perform system upgrades and replacements for employees.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in end-user compute (EUC).
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware.
- ServiceNow Experience: Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system and general support processes/procedures.
- Networking Basics: Basic knowledge of networks, security, WAN, LAN, and WiFi setup.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer care skills.
- Preferred Skills: PowerShell scripting experience and experience in the financial industry are a plus.
- Location: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York City or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within New York City on an as-needed basis to support the client’s offices within the city.

On-call and after-hours support will be provided on an as-needed basis
Additional Information:
- The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
- The candidate should be able to communicate by telephone, email, and face-to-face.
Compensation:$45,000 annually
