We are seeking a Survey Technician to join a highly respected and growing survey group supporting large‑scale infrastructure and construction projects throughout New York City. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot survey instrumentation near active construction sites
- Set up and manage Automated Total Stations in urban environments, including near buildings, roadways, and bridges
- Perform periodic field visits to ensure data accuracy and equipment performance
- Collect, process, and analyze survey and monitoring data
- Collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to ensure accurate reporting and successful project execution
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working with survey instrumentation and data collection
- Hands‑on experience with Automated Total Stations
- Proficiency with GeoMos software
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology, Land Surveying, or a related field preferred
Work Environment & Growth

- Projects include work for public agencies such as DDC, SCA, Port Authority, Bridges, and major roadway programs
- Typical schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
