Position: Fleet Coordinator
About Us: We are a dedicated non-profit organization committed to supporting disabled individuals by providing essential transportation services to parks, schools, and other vital locations. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Coordinator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Management: Oversee all aspects of vehicle management, including scheduling, maintenance, and inspections.
- Sign-Out Procedures: Manage the sign-out process for vehicles, ensuring all users follow proper protocols.
- Maintenance Coordination: Ensure vehicles are maintained correctly and on schedule. Coordinate with service providers for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Inspection Scheduling: Monitor and schedule vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Quote Management: Obtain and evaluate quotes for repair and maintenance jobs.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records and reports in Excel to track vehicle status, maintenance schedules, and other fleet-related activities.
- Incident Reporting: Handle any incident reports, including accidents, and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Fleet Oversight: Ensure the fleet is always operational and meets the needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in fleet management or logistics, preferably with a background in managing a fleet for a truck company or similar organization.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel for reporting and record-keeping.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and service providers.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected issues and incidents efficiently and effectively.
Preferred Background:
- Experience from fleet management companies.
- Previous roles in fleet coordination or logistics management.
