Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join our team, overseeing commercial construction projects throughout the Capital Region. Our projects include heavy commercial, hospitality, entertainment, and manufacturing, offering a diverse and challenging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, managing daily needs and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Oversee quality control, assessing work performed on-site and implementing necessary changes.
• Manage daily operations on the construction site, including creating schedules, running project meetings, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Act as the on-site manager, addressing issues raised by subcontractors and focusing on health and safety protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with the project team back in the office.
• Ensure thorough daily documentation and reporting.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of Construction Superintendent experience.
• 5+ years of overall construction experience.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Experience with commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Background in skilled trades, particularly carpentry.
• Open to experienced foremen ready to transition to a superintendent role.
• Experience in managing affordable housing projects is a plus.
