Warehouse Helper

The Jammer Remover is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the warehouse by quickly identifying and clearing

jams on conveyor systems and automated equipment. This role involves regularly monitoring conveyor lines, removing obstructions, and performing basic

troubleshooting to restore equipment to normal operation. The Jammer Remover works closely with maintenance and operations teams to report recurring issues, assist with minor repairs, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

Duties:

·      Inspect conveyor belts, rollers, and sortation systems for potential jams and obstructions during regular warehouse operations.

·      Safely and efficiently remove packages or materials causing jams, following all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures as needed.

·      Communicate recurring problems to maintenance personnel and support preventive maintenance efforts to minimize future disruptions.

·      Document incidents and downtime related to jams, providing feedback and suggestions for process improvement.

·      Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor repairs under supervision, ensuring minimal impact to warehouse productivity.

·      Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, quick problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment. Previous experience in material handling or automated warehouse settings is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
