CNC MACHINIST $25-$30/HR****1st & 2nd Shift!

Job Description

Join a dynamic custom metal manufacturer specializing in the electrical component industry. As a CNC Wet Mill Operator, you will be tasked with running various parts through the wet mill area. This role involves machining parts from a variety of materials, with a focus on copper, for a diverse range of customers. You will rarely encounter the same part twice due to the vast array of components handled.

Responsibilities

• Run different parts in the wet mill area, ensuring quality and precision.
• Operate CNC Mills and Lathes to machine parts, focusing on copper materials.
• Perform secondary operations such as drill press, de-burring, and using other fabrication equipment.
• Check parts against blueprint specifications using quality equipment like Micrometers and Calipers.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure the correct speeds and feeds for cutting tools.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience running CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Proficiency in operating from blueprints.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and their correct speeds and feeds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in setting up CNC mills from blueprints.
• Ability to interface with CAD/CAM systems.
• Familiarity with Haas and Fadal CNC Mills, with Haas being the most frequently used.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $49000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
