Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable handling a wide range of accounting responsibilities—from journal entries to financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Generate and review invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CPA certification (preferred but not required).
