HCM Implementation Project Manager Opportunity:

  • 12+ month project
  • 100% remote, Mon-Fri flexible shifts


As an Implementation Project Manager (individual contributor) you will have end-to-end ownership of the company's enterprise client on-boarding experience across an extensive product suite. You will work cross functionally with Sales, Product, Technology, and Client Success to seamlessly integrate clients into our environment, delivering customer programs from concept through final implementation with a focus on value actualization & time to revenue.

This Is What You’ll Do:

• Design client centric implementation project plans & quarterback delivery of end-to-end lifecycle

• Be a subject matter expert across Sterling platforms and products, partnering with internal stakeholders to successfully architect, implement, and manage client solutions

• Navigate complex issues, both technical and non-technical, and use sound judgment and data to make decisions that are best for our clients

• Lead scoping, documentation, & interpreting of client implementation requirements and provide simple, actionable guidance to help customers execute alongside you

• Champion successful customer outcomes and innovate ways to improve our customer implementation processes

• Directly impact the Company’s time to revenue to drive corporate performance


Project management, Implementation, microsoft office, saas, salesforce software, Account management, Project coordination, client relation skills


  • Requires 5+ years of project-management/program-implementation experience supporting enterprise level deals, within HCM or bkgd services industry
  • 4-year degree in technical or related field is required and MBA is a plus
  • Experience working closely with Sales/Client Success Teams during the pre-sales stage, onboarding and supporting enterprise level B2B SaaS solutions
  • Extensive and successful onboarding (implementation / deployment) of enterprise-sized clients
  • Solid experience with integrations for Enterprise Level accounts; you won’t code, but you’ll lead pre- & post-production testing and configuration with leading ATS/HRIS applications
  • Expertise in optimizing client integrations and achieving high levels of client satisfaction
  • Superior motivational capabilities & people skills that inspire clients and drive collaboration across multiple layers of an organization
  • Excellent client facing, presentation and communication skills that deliver clear messages and create positive and impactful experiences for clients
  • Solutions Consulting experience would be an asset when working on the pre-sale plans
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshooting issues
  • Work well under pressure and you are not risk averse and comfortable taking on challenges
