Job Title: VDC/MEP Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for an individual to join a General Contractor as a VDC/MEP Coordinator to work in their Columbus, Ohio-based office. The VDC/MEP Coordinator will be responsible for the VDC/BIM 3D coordination of some of the highest profile and exciting construction projects in Ohio. You will work with construction teams to facilitate collaboration and communication for the designing and modeling of entire HVAC/Mechanical & Electrical systems for projects.

Hard Skills

• Develop 3D models of MEP Building systems in Revit
• Develop 3D models used for BIM coordination of all trades
• Run clash detection, develop clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process
• Follow established VI standards for modeling and production drawings
• Prepare prefabrication and installation drawings
• Read and interpret submittals, architectural, structural, electrical, piping/plumbing, and mechanical drawings

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Carey, Ohio.

Work Environment

90% of the job is in the office & 10% of it would be driving out to job sites. 5 days a week & as long as 40 hours are in, then you can leave the office at 12pm on Friday. Typical hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm but you can somewhat shift your schedule.
