Job Title: Machine Operator (1st Shift) ($17.00/hr.)
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our dynamic team in a family-owned custom shop. This role involves operating various machines, including CNC, thermoforming, and rotational mold machines, to produce high-quality plastic components. The position is contract-to-hire, with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and half. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC, thermoforming, and rotational mold machines, ensuring precise setup and operation.
- Load products into machines and adjust frames to fit plastic sheets.
- Run products through conveyors and ovens, monitoring cycle times.
- Utilize hand tools to tear down machines and insert new tooling for custom orders.
- Troubleshoot problems during the first run of products.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure production meets standards.
- Assist with shipping and other departmental needs when required.
- Read custom work orders and follow production schedules to meet goals.
- Lift up to 40 lbs and perform routine preventative maintenance on machines.
Essential Skills
- Experience working in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
- Capability to lift 30 lbs.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure and using basic shop math.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating machines is a plus.
- Knowledge in machine setup, technician duties, and repair.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
