Job Description
Join a dynamic team as an Interconnection Coordinator, acting as a key liaison between customers and the interconnection engineering team. This role is essential in ensuring effective communication, managing interconnection requests, and facilitating a seamless transition to clean, renewable energy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between customers and the interconnection engineering team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Manage and respond to solar interconnection requests via Power Clerk.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve customer utility needs and ensure smooth interconnection processes.
- Address and resolve basic customer inquiries related to grid interconnection and common utility concerns.
- Track project milestones and maintain documentation to support team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and support implementation of best practices.
Essential Skills
- Project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with project tracking tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project is a plus.
- Applicable experience within the energy, utilities, or solar industry is beneficial.
Work Environment
This role offers the opportunity to work in the office four days per week, with flexibility for remote work on Fridays once training is complete and proficiency in the role is demonstrated.
