Join a custom industrial equipment and general machining job shop in New Lexington, Ohio, offering full-service machining, fabrication, and engineering. We are looking for two Maintenance Engineers for a 6-month contract-to-hire role, with opportunities for growth and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities- Read blueprints and specifications
- Perform fabrication, layout, and setup tasks
- Conduct maintenance repairs and engineering tasks
- Perform quality inspections
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
- MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of different metals and their properties
- Experience in maintenance repair and quality inspection
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing
- Proficiency in various maintenance and fabrication techniques
- Manual dexterity
- Spatial-orientation skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various physical positions for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or on-the-job experience

Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic job shop environment with over 40 employees, primarily welders. Experience a non-climate controlled setting that includes a machine shop, fabrication department, and welding shop.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Lexington, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
