Mechanical Drafter

Description:

We are looking for an entry to mid level mechanical DRAFTER who has expereicne with 2D and 3D DRAFTING/DESIGN Software. This individual will be working on designing SHEET METAL ENCLOSURES for customers in the US. Someone. FOCUS WILL BE ON sheetmetal design metal cabinets HOUSING the ELECTRICAL components. All design and fabrication is done in house so soft skills to interact with other departments and brainstorm is crucial.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- BOM generation experience would be a great value

- 2D Software / Solidworks experience FROM WORKPLACE OR HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN SCHOOL

- 2 year associates degree in an engineering specialty

- SHEET METAL ENCLOSURE AND/OR ELECTRICAL PANEL DESIGN/LAYOUT

- This role could be customer facing so soft skills are very important.

- MRP system is something that can be trained on but would be nice if this candidate already has some experience
