Job Description

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing, programming, and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC logic. Your role will involve debugging for proper content, error-proofing, and ensuring data collection functionality. You will lead continuous improvement projects, participate in lean plant floor layout, and review and approve electrical and controls schematics along with assembly systems BOM.

Responsibilities Include

- Review, program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC logic and debug for proper content, error-proofing, and data collection function

- Lead continuous improvement projects

- Participate in lean plant floor layout (value-add, error-proof, visual factory, Kan BAN material flow)

- Review and approve electrical and controls schematics and assembly systems BOM

Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with RSLogix 5000, RSLinx

- Experience with lift assists and pneumatic devices (valve, cylinder)

- FANUC robotics experience

- Proficiency developing PFMEAs, Operation Instructions, Controls Plans, and Process Flow Chart
