Line Support Technician

Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM ET
Summary:
Provide Tier I support for production-critical line applications and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ensure system stability by following documented procedures to resolve issues or escalate to appropriate support teams. Deliver technical assistance to plant floor users and participated in technology upgrades and implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Tier I support for line applications and equipment essential to production operations.
- Diagnose and resolved desktop, application, and network issues; escalated complex problems as needed.
- Monitor systems and responded to alerts to maintain operational continuity.
- Support hardware including printers, handheld devices, scan guns, and desktops/laptops.
- Participate in system upgrades and technology rollouts across the facility.
Technical Environment:
- Windows operating systems
- User account and access management
- Local area network troubleshooting
- Exposure to UNIX-based systems
- General office applications and ticketing workflows
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support capabilities
- Experience with desktop and network support
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, production-driven environment
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
- Familiarity with Level 1 & Level 2 support practices
