Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
The Senior Electrical Engineer leads multiple engineering projects focused on new product development, design improvements, and cost reductions. This role involves full-cycle development of electrical subsystems, including printed circuit boards and sensor technologies, from concept through to manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical subsystems and sensor products.
- Build and test prototypes to validate performance.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
- Support cross-functional teams including purchasing, service, sales, and production.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical, electrical engineering, and electrical design.
- Experience with substation, power supplies, and power distribution.
- Skilled in PCB design and sensor design.
- Expertise in thermal engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in product development and manufacturing.
- Experience in both electrical and electronic products.
- Knowledge of 3-phase equipment and power distribution systems.
- Experience with high voltage power electronics and switch mode power supply.
- Understanding of PCB design and layout.
- Knowledge of thermal and heat management is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is onsite, working with the engineering team every day. Occasionally, remote work might be possible, but it is not considered a hybrid position. The role is balanced between the office and the manufacturing floor, involving hands-on work with equipment and guiding it through the full development lifecycle from design to testing to build.
