DIRECT HIRE - Extrusion Machine Operator - $19.26/hour

PAY: $19.26/hour

SHIFT: 3rd shift

***12 hour rotating night shifts: 6pm - 6am, 4 days on, 4 days off with 2 required overtime days***

LOCATION: Chagrin Falls, Ohio

Perks & Benefits:

• Will be working SIX – 12 hour shifts per week for the next 6-8 weeks- will be very EASY to get double time which = $38.86 per hour!!

• HS diploma is not a MUST have- if candidate does not have HS diploma or GED- they can take an aptitude test that will take place and allow them to work there

• There is room for growth and advancement – Powder Fed Extrusion operators are where they currently have the most open positions- $19.54 per hour + .50 shift differential

• Can bid on any jobs and any shift after they have gone through training for 6 weeks

• Dress code-Due to it being hot in the summer you are allowed to wear shorts, Bright T-shirts will be provided, Steel toe boots, safety glasses. NO MASK!

• Steel toe boots will be reimbursed up to $200 – every year. New hires are eligible for boot reimbursement if they take their receipt!

DESCRIPTION:

• Will be working at the end of an extrusion line

• This is a fast pace extrusion line where they will be counting the wall base boards and putting them into a box for shipping

• These positions require hand eye coordination and ability to stand on their feet all day

• Will be working off of a production schedule each day

• There are 15+ extrusion lines that run 24/7 the machines are programmed to never stop producing

• Will be lifting 50 lbs repeatedly

• This job is also very repetitive- they may be standing on the same line throughout the entire shift and completing the same task

• Will be stacking product in boxes and taping the boxes shut

• Will be checking product with gauge to ensure quality standards are being met

• Will check product to ensure color is accurate

• Will assist operator in change overs

• Will be determining scrap material and unloading it from the machine and taking it to the grinder to be repurposed

• Some of the product is wound into a coil for shipping- it is rolled off of the machine and automatically cut and needs to be rolled and placed in a box and prepared for shipping

• Documentation will be required once they have completed orders

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 6PM-6AM – 12 HOUR SHIFTS

2. MUST HAVE STEEL TOE BOOTS

3. MUST HAVE HS DIPLOMA / GED

4. MUST HAVE BASIC MATH SKILLS – ADDING AND SUBTRACTING

5. MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 60+ HRS PER WEEK
